Tenancy agreement
Starting point, not legal advice. After both parties sign, have this agreement stamped at LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri) through the e-Duti Setem system (STAMPS) within 30 days of signing; stamp duty is worked out on the annual rent and the term, and an unstamped agreement cannot be used as evidence in court. Check the NRIC details against the original cards, and ask a lawyer to review it for a long term or a commercial let. Delete this note before printing.
