Dear Encik Hafiz,

Resignation from the position of Quality Engineer

Please accept this letter as formal notice of my resignation from my position as Quality Engineer in the Wafer Test department, Employee No. PSM-04417.

Under clause 14 of my employment contract dated 3 June 2022, I am required to give one month's written notice. Had my contract been silent on notice, the Employment Act 1955 would require at least 4 weeks' notice for service of less than 2 years, 6 weeks for 2 to 5 years and 8 weeks for 5 years or more. As my contract sets one month, my notice period begins today and my last working day will be Friday, 27 November 2026.

My remaining annual leave balance is 6 days. I would be grateful if these could be paid out in my final salary, or set off against the notice period if the company prefers, and I will follow whichever arrangement you and my manager agree on.

Handover

I want to leave my work in good order. Before my last day I will:

1. Complete the corrective action reports for the Q3 customer returns and hand them to Mr. Ravi Chandran
2. Update the control plans and failure mode records for the three product lines I support
3. Train my replacement, or a colleague nominated by my manager, on the yield dashboard and the supplier audit schedule
4. Return my laptop, access card, safety shoes and parking sticker to the HR and IT departments

Please let me know if you need me to sign any clearance form or attend an exit interview.
