Dear Mr. Navarro,
Please accept this letter as my formal notice of resignation from my position as Customer Service Officer at Sunrise Savings Bank, Inc., Iloilo City Proper Branch.
In line with Article 300 of the Labor Code of the Philippines, I am giving at least thirty (30) days' written notice. My last working day will be Friday, 27 November 2026, and my resignation will take effect at the end of that day.
This was not an easy decision. I have accepted an offer that will let me be closer to my family in Roxas City. I am truly grateful for the five years I have spent with the bank, for your guidance, and for the chance to grow from teller to customer service officer.
Turnover
I want the handover to be smooth for the branch and for our clients. Before my last day, I will:
- Finish processing all pending account opening and loan documentation assigned to me
- Prepare a turnover report of my client accounts, open requests and follow-ups, with contact details
- Train my replacement, or the officer you assign, on our daily reports and the core banking screens I handle
- Return my company ID, keys, tokens, laptop and other bank property, and complete the exit clearance
If the branch needs more help during the transition, I am happy to discuss it.
Certificate of employment and final pay
I respectfully request the following:
- A Certificate of Employment stating my positions and dates of employment, from 2 November 2021 to 27 November 2026. Under DOLE Labor Advisory No. 06, Series of 2020, this is issued within three (3) days from request.
- My final pay, including my unpaid salary, pro-rated 13th month pay, the cash conversion of my unused service incentive and vacation leave, and any other benefits due. Under the same advisory, final pay is released within thirty (30) days from separation, or sooner if company policy or our agreement provides.
- My BIR Form 2316 for 2026.
Please let me know if there are forms or clearances I need to complete for these.
